01 Music Video
The love for music videos started with the early morning when mom used to put Telemundo on the tv and the young (baby) ace saw those images flash before his impressionable eyes.
It wasn't until high school that ace would have the opportunity to experiment more with those ideas. To ace, music videos are to film, what poetry is to a novel. An art form in of itself, despite an ever evolving media landscape. Each music video, an opportunity to establish a concept, aesthetic, or narrative tone, on a good day all three, ‘cuz why not?

■ Live events
Live events, be it shows, cyphers, large venue or underground (like someones basement), ace embraces it all. The raw energy of live instrumentation, a freestyle cycpher that pops off unplanned, or the sound of subwoofers getting blown out on a trap or alt show, is everything we live for when experiencing this art form live. My goal is to capture that lighting in a bottle and best showcase it for current digital landscape. Wether thast be a multi-cam livestream or a recap putting the atmosphere and audience reaction on full display.

■ FIlm-making
‘Tis the end game. My dream aside from being a music video director long term is getting into the film-making space. Being a kid who was often baby sat by the tv, movie have always left an impression on me. The first in my family to take photography or video production seriously as a profession, and being first gen, I recognize the power in telling my story and of those around me especially those in marginalized communities.
Films give me the chance to reflect on the world around me, and hopefully one day, I can leave someone with that same feeling that inspires me after a good Ghibli film.. “What the hell did I just watch? What do I do with myself now?”
